Love Slave for Two: Reckoning
Love Slave for Two: Reckoning by Tymber Dalton

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The final installment in the life of Tom, Tyler, and Nevvie and their every increasing extended family. This one is very dramatic and was hard to put down. The emotional pull was heart stopping. Not sure a Central Florida resident should reads such a spot on description of the worse case scenario hit of a hurricane but it was very easy to picture exactly what was happening. Loved the epilogue to wrap up their story.

The Walls Have Ears
The Walls Have Ears by Erica Pike

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Harley is short and scrawny and has developed a fantasy for his neighbor on the other side of the wall. When he thinks he's figured out the mystery is leads to heart break because his neighbor loves his room mate. What follows is a lot of fun misunderstandings. As the reader you can see where everyone keeps mis-stepping but they just keep stepping in it. This was a fun read.

Review: Battle Buddy

Battle Buddy
Battle Buddy by S.J.D. Peterson

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Shane Tucker and Owen Bradford seem to have a charged relationship from the minute they meet but poor Shane is doing his best to ignore it. After all they are in the Army and all that is implied by that. It was fun to see them battle themselves and each other. I hope we will hear more about this pair and this promises to be a great series.

Edited: June 22, 2013.

I read this book as two separate stories from the old publishers so I'm adding my thoughts on the second rest of the story. It was fun to read the flip side of the story. I really loved hearing the story from Owen's side. What a fun idea.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Nick is with Spencer but things don't feel exactly right. Something has to give but what is most important. And Spencer has to decide if he can be open for work. Even when Nick knows what he really wants is it possible to get and still be the guy in charge. It was great to see the way they danced around each other and their own feelings.

Review: Daddy's Princess

Daddy's Princess
Daddy's Princess by Emily Warren

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was sort of a cross between age place and Dom/Sub relationship. The only part I was little uncomfortable with with the introduction of a third person one evening without talking about it first. It turned out okay. But the two of them seemed well suited for each other and very happy together.

This is a strong story. While I would never want myself or anyone I knew to be abducted this story draws you in. You quickly see the change in attitudes. Plus this is one hot story. And they do end up hitting it off.

Review: Demolition Girl

Demolition Girl
Demolition Girl by Loki Renard

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tyler is independent and gets a bang out of blowing stuff up but when the mob boss sets a babysitter on her to get his money everything changes. Jeremy is not what Tyler is used to. Getting around him is not easy but then she thrives on danger. I don't usually like "post-apocalyptic" story lines but the blend of emotions, action, and humor made this a surprising and enjoyable read.

Her Billionaire Her Wolf by Aimélie Aames

I pulled this off my free shelf and didn't realize it was the first part of a serial. It seemed impersonal and rushed to me. I'm sure this would improve if I read the set just not sure when I can get back to it.

More like 3.5. They were parted and both treated unfairly in different was. The person responsible for the break up brings them together. It was a good story idea but it fell a little flat for me. I just didn't connect with the characters.

Guardian Domination
Guardian Domination by Breanna Hayse

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Celeste is really at the end of the road and this is her very last chance to save herself. Jace is not the guardian she was expected but he is certainly what she needs. The slow development of the relationship even though you can see where it's headed is nice. It was just as important that Celeste grow to love and trust not just the people in her life but herself as well.

PS I think Ben needs to find his own HEA with a girl he can bring into this wonderful circle of "family".

Owen is hiding away for a variety of reasons. Nick is outgoing but hold back. So many elements you don't usually see in books. Don't want to give too much away. But this a wonderful story. I also have a nephew with a similar disability to Owen so that was interesting to see in a story.

Noah and Pierce five years later. There are some issues cropping up and the biggest is lack of communication compounded by lack of sleep. All of this almost causes Pierce to derail the whole thing. Add into the mix a pre-teen girl, infant, and long lost brother and its a wonder they stand a chance at all.

Review: Nobody's Perfect

Nobody's Perfect
Nobody's Perfect by Kallypso Masters

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Savi has been on her own she she left her father's house of horrors after being with Damion. The love for her daughter and the memory of the special day have kept her going. But now her peace has been shatter has her father tries to regain control of her and her daughter. She runs to the one person she trusts to help her. She gains not one person but a whole new family that is dedicated to keeping her safe and seeing her heal in more ways than one. Things are touch and go for a while and both Damion and Savi need to find healing and acceptance to move on together. I loved seeing their strength. I appreciated that although Savi was down she was not out. The book shows that she has her own measure of strength and that being with Damion as well as her new family multiplies it instead of diminishes it. Each book in this series brings you deeper into the lives of these special people.
