This is the first book in the Evergreen series that I didn't really like. It was well written but for me it was really very depressing and a downer. I know that life is full hard things but I really like my stories especially Christmas story to be an escape. Sometimes I like one that is bitter sweet or even sad but this one just made me feel unsettled and sad.
