This is the final book in the series for me. It is always interesting to read a series with different writers as each brings their own spin to the same simple premise. Once again the secret cookbook strikes again. This time Scot and Boon are the receivers of all the good that comes from trying out the recipes in the book. They not only get their relationship on track but the past is laid to rest as well. Really loved this final story and it was a great one to conclude with.

Review: Dom of Ages

I love both Eli and Jarod. They first realize their wants and how their other can give them what they desire. But we get to see this superficial beginning start to develop into something deeper. Eli is such a strong dominate and yet he also realizes that he doesn't have all the answers or that he isn't capable of making a misstep. But what I love the most about his developing relationship with his sub is that not only does he push his submission in new ways but he also encourages him to make friendships and develop other relationships that Jarod is never again left feeling isolated or alone. This books reminds us that live is ageless that there is no one true way to be together. Also, as I get older it's fun to read a story with an older character as well.

Sometimes it's hard to get time to yourself when you are raising a family. As the mom of five I can certainly relate. I love how being a Pack Alpha sometimes means you get to babysit to help others out. And it was great to see Shannon and Grey have a little me time.

Review: The Art of Breathing

This time the focus is more on "The Kid" who of course isn't really much of a kid anymore. Like his brother Bear his sometimes spends too much time in his head and can be his own worse enemy. We get to see some of the past events through his eyes as well as live out new experiences. We get to see his own transition from having a friend to wanting more. And again like Bear with Otter it doesn't go all that well at first. We say a more formal goodbye to characters gone and get the chance to meet and greet some new ones. There are some bumps and twists along the way but you still get the message that love is the most important thing and family is who you choose to include in your life and not an accident of birth.

Joe has been nursing a past hurt, not completely without reason, for a while. His whole life is his pie shop and his only family are his employees. But his life takes a dramatic upswing when a battered mystery man shows up in the yard. "Tom" helps to begin to open Joe's heart to possibilities but it also opens up his can of insecurities as well. While this book is full of danger and mystery the quirky cast of characters keeps this story light hearted and fun. There are even some special surprises along the way.

Review: The Perfect Sub

The Perfect Sub by Sean Michael

Both couples are learning to have fun and relax together. Lance and Tide are taking their relationship deeper and learning more ways to share. Bran is trying to be perfect that he neglects himself on his quest to please. Tyrone is caring and committed but it takes a scare to make him really open his eyes to all that is happening in their lives. It feels real to see a Dom make mistakes and go to his friend to get help and advise. We also get to see that no matter how dedicated and wrapped up in his master life a sub is he still needs time to connect with his friends and have their own down time. This books is really about how important all kinds of relationships are and everyone has to keep the lines of communication open.

Review: Accidentally His

Accidentally His by Shawn Lane

This is a sweet quick paced story. Kirk has been crushing in his bus mate during the work commute. Elijah is clueless. But crashing into each other changes all that. Once they notice each other they realize it's time to get together. There are still a couple of bumps but the outlook for these too looks pretty good.
