Life With Uncle by Fiona Wilde

We met Barbie and her "Uncle" Biggs in the first story little girl lost. Now they are beginning their life together in their chosen roles. They both seem to be very happy with the relationship that is building but Uncle is pressured to enroll Barbie in New Hope's "daycare". We begin to see now that there is a dark side to the adoption agency. I liked the story of their budding relationship because they both seem to be having their needs met but the story got a 4 out of 5 because the ending leaves you knowing that things are unsettled and with unhappiness on both their parts. I did appreciate that when it was called for both Biggs and Barbie could set aside their roles and talk as adults though.

Ace-High Flush: The Journey Series Book Two by Patricia Green

This is the second book in the Journey series and while it can stand on its own I think reading them in order is more fun. Gabby and the reader have had a taste of Ace justice in the first book of the series and Gabby is surprised he'd even bother to look her up. They both start to have strong feelings but Gabby is unsure of herself and sure doesn't want to be the first to say anything plus she doesn't see how this can go anywhere. When Gabby makes a poor choice, Ace seems to give up and walk away because he feels she doesn't trust him enough to help her out. But he's pretty stubborn and poor Gabby doesn't stand much of chance.

Morgan's life is in danger and Nik does his best to protect him. Somewhere along the they way feelings begin to develop between the two. Just when things seem to be working out something comes up that makes Nik decide walking away is better than working things out. Sometimes those tough guys have the hardest time forgiving themselves and letting love have a chance.

Review: The Haley Chronicles

The Haley Chronicles by Laylah Roberts

This is a wonderful age-play love story. Haley mets Sean in a rather abrupt way and while she doesn't immediately accept his help she does call on him later and that's where this story begins. The story makes it clear that Haley and Sean's relationship is built on a deep love for one another. You also get the sense that the age-play is about meeting their needs and not all for fun and games. You come away from this story seeing their love and their relationship even though it is different from the norm that for them it leads to a healthy and happy life.

Review: Don't Mess with Texas

This was a great story with a mystery to solve, lots of great humor, and a love story destined for a HEA. I had picked this one up when it first came out to support the author who was having trouble with her title being part of Texas' keep clean campaign and I'm glad I did. This book was a lot of fun.

This is a sweet story. Laurel and Vince both seem to develop feeling for each other. What I really loved was that even though Vance is very dominate he's always willing to admit when he's made a mistake and taken things too far.

Review: The Virgin Billionaire

The Virgin Billionaire by Ryan Field

On one hand this seems like a fun story about a man who "runs away" to discover himself. In the process he meets another man who has changed himself to get away. They have feelings for one another but Luis doesn't seem to want to admit them. Then just when it seems that everything is coming together for them the truth of who Jace is gets revealed. Luis completely rejects him based on deceit. I just found Luis just a bit too whinny at times and considering his own past and even his current reality I felt his reactions were just a bit too much drama.
