How to Love Thine Enemy (Howl at the Moon, #6)How to Love Thine Enemy by Eli Easton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a powerful story of tradition and betrayal generations old. I had read they rest of this series quite a while ago and found this on on my TBR. We are now in Alaska with “dog men” but in different ways from the California group we met in the other books. The love story between Cupun and Taq is sweet. I love watching all parties have to deal with their own understanding of the world and what it means to be community.

When COVID hits the ranch Wat and Tygh are thrown together to care for Naomi and the two littlest foster girls who have all tested negative. My rating: 4 of 5 stars

My heart really went out to Rory. Visiting Jack’s family seems full of stress and land mines. I did like the fact that Jack starts to see things more realistically and that he would put Rory first. For Rory’s part he handles things with so much grace and wisdom. It’s sad when it takes an emergency to have people really examine their feelings.

This is a great collection of stories.

Jeopardy features Tanner and Kade - Sweet sibling best friend romance. Tanner had been crushing for a long time. Finally, Kaden sees him and that’s all it takes.

The Boyfriend Arrangement. - Felix and Jacob - While both Felix and Josie are in denial they are already creating a different future. I like that neither one needed to have a big heart break for them to go forward. That Jacob is the crush is perfect. (I also enjoyed Jose’s story in Gabbi Powell’s Josette and the Count book).

The Secret Boyfriend - Cameron and Jasper - Cameron is so confused about his reaction. He then moves to fear, and then guilt before finally settling his emotions. Jasper is so bold but we see he can also get hurt. I think these two were so sweet.

I had mixed feelings about this book. Overall, I liked the plot but found the story choppy. It moved quickly from one incident to another, sometimes without clear transitions. Also, the back-and-forth with Baran’s father didn’t seem necessary to develop the relationship between Baran and Darien.
