How to Love Thine Enemy by Eli EastonMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
This was a powerful story of tradition and betrayal generations old. I had read they rest of this series quite a while ago and found this on on my TBR. We are now in Alaska with “dog men” but in different ways from the California group we met in the other books. The love story between Cupun and Taq is sweet. I love watching all parties have to deal with their own understanding of the world and what it means to be community.

Wilde Fire by Lucy LennoxMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Seth has been used by his family for years. His parents backed him into a corner with regards to his niece. He stands up for himself and they get ugly. Otto was hurt and gets caught up in arson drama. You also see the contrast between loving and accepting families vs. judgmental bigots one. I was glad to see them get through in the end.

Admiring His Omega by C.W. GrayMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Malcolm is adorable and I love the connection between him and Cain. This story sort of crosses the timeline in Book 11. There is a lot of family drama but there are also moments with a lot of humor as well. There are also surprises to the end.Love my visits to Hobson Hills.

When COVID hits the ranch Wat and Tygh are thrown together to care for Naomi and the two littlest foster girls who have all tested negative. Their time together away from the others sets their life in a direction neither was expecting. There are some real feels in this book. I also really loved how Tygh was ready to do battle to take care of his man.

An Easter Promise by A.E. RyecartMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
My heart really went out to Rory. Visiting Jack’s family seems full of stress and land mines. I did like the fact that Jack starts to see things more realistically and that he would put Rory first. For Rory’s part he handles things with so much grace and wisdom. It’s sad when it takes an emergency to have people really examine their feelings.
