How to Catch a Happy Ever After by Ana AshleyMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
This story doesn’t focus on one couple but we get to see several of our old friends as we prepare for Wren and Jon’s wedding. But it was also fun to see Rory and Sergei get together as well. A fun light hearted visit to Chester Falls.

This one is a very short story. Leo (Gideon’s ex) is making a new start so his children can spend time with both of their parents. You get the feeling that he can be an arrogant surgeon. He decides to have a quick hook up before reporting to work. But that hook up gets turned upside down in the morning light. Can’t wait to read the next book.

Jules has already had to face so much and his father is only making things worse. Liam arrives to help with rehab and they really catch each others eye. This story is full of hard moments and dark scenes but it has a realism to it as well. This could play out in any number of family farms, etc. This one has me holding my breath to the very end.

Another powerful story. I am really loving the Trash Panda series. Silver knows who he loves and wants to mate with but that isn’t possible so he is living by himself. Daryl felt trapped by his fated mate. But the breaking point for Daryl is wanted to protect his unborn pups. Instinct brings him to Silver’s door. I love how Silver’s offer of help isn’t conditional and neither is his family. Very beautiful ending.

What develops is a beautiful relationship.

Bay and Pete are thrown together and there is the trama of losing people they love. I like the fact that there isn’t a lot of anger or angst between these two men. Each of them accept the role the other one plays in the lives of the children. I loved the fact that their relationship grows naturally. A wonderful story of a family that needs to rebuild but strengthens with love.

The Boyfriend Gamble by Gabbi GreyMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is a great collection of stories.
Jeopardy features Tanner and Kade - Sweet sibling best friend romance. Tanner had been crushing for a long time. Finally, Kaden sees him and that’s all it takes.
The Boyfriend Arrangement. - Felix and Jacob - While both Felix and Josie are in denial they are already creating a different future. I like that neither one needed to have a big heart break for them to go forward. That Jacob is the crush is perfect. (I also enjoyed Jose’s story in Gabbi Powell’s Josette and the Count book).
The Secret Boyfriend - Cameron and Jasper - Cameron is so confused about his reaction. He then moves to fear, and then guilt before finally settling his emotions. Jasper is so bold but we see he can also get hurt. I think these two were so sweet.

Baran by Brina BradyMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
I had mixed feelings about this book. Overall, I liked the plot but found the story choppy. It moved quickly from one incident to another, sometimes without clear transitions. Also, the back-and-forth with Baran’s father didn’t seem necessary to develop the relationship between Baran and Darien.
