Frog by Mary CalmesMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
This story opens with a call in the night. Web is drawn to Cy but he doesn’t feel worthy. I love how it isn’t just Cy who point out to Web his truth worth. I also enjoyed the role Cy’s sister and her boys play though the story. #CMCon26

Alpha Heat by Leta BlakeMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is such a dramatic story. There is danger from different places. There is a threat from Xan’s father and cousin. There is also a horrible deadly flu. In the meantime Xan and Caleb are exiled but things start to take a turn for the better. Urho offers to help which builds a different life for all. I love the growth in Xan in this story. I really enjoyed this series of events when everything was happening at once. #CMCon26

Overture by Tere MichaelsMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
We finished the first book with Luka’s excitement. This second book in this series takes us back to the beginning when Detour was born. And then we are back to the present. This story really focuses on Theo’s story. It also ends with a very dramatic cliff hanger. #CMCon26

Dine With Me by Layla ReyneMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
The first word I can think of is wow. There are tears so be prepared. I slowly read the first half wondering where this story could possible go. And then I started the second half this morning and I couldn’t but it down until I made it to the end. This story reflects the hard decisions families have to make and what it takes for hope to bloom. This is so much more than a love story between two people. It also touches on family love and the love found around a table filled with good food. #CMCon26

Slow Birth by Leta BlakeMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
I loved getting the full story behind Jason and Vale’s miracle. They have grown so much as a couple. There were some scary moments but they are really there for each other. #CMCon26

Winter's Truth by Leta BlakeMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Viro is the sweet miracle baby of Jason and Vale. This story is about the difficult age when you are moving from childhood faith to trying to figure things out for yourself. Some truths as you grow up can be hard. The epilogue is a wonderful wrap up that leaves you wondering what will be next in Ro’s life. #CMCon26
