Review: Haven's Promise
Haven's Promise by Maggie Ryan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Great addition to the series. As the dream of Haven really starts to take shape we get to visit with our old friends and get to know two more of the couples better. Barbara and Craig continue to explore their own brand of kink with age-play while Garrett and Ariel move their relationship forward.
Every book in this series leaves me with warm fuzzies and this one is no exception. I love all of them love and embrace each other in their own style of living and loving.

Review: Confetti, Cake & Confessions
Confetti, Cake & Confessions by K.C. Wells
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Marc and Tony both have a secret. And what follows is a crazy two weeks of roller coaster emotions that follow as truths are revealed and details worked out. Great humor amidst the understandable angst.

Review: Temptations of Desire
Temptations of Desire by Tempeste O'Riley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This story runs parallel to the previous story in this series and focus on Rhy's brother Dal and Alex. Alex is fluid and comfortable depending on mood dressed in male or female clothing and from the moment they meet he sure checks all of Dal's boxes. But there is so much family stuff going on and murders to solve that seems that the budding romance will never get off the ground. This is one romance that takes a lot of work to get moving along.

Review: The Masquerade
The Masquerade by Sara Curran-Ross
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This story opens with a terrorist's bombing and the action just goes on from there. This story is read much more like a thriller with some spanking and a hint of romance than a spanking romance with some action.
Through out the story you are never sure who to trust, which agenda is the most dangerous, and who will actually survive to tell the story. This one keeps you on the edge of your seat. A diffidently can't but down story.

Review: Captive's Heat
Captive's Heat by Vonna Harper
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I picked this up because something in the blurb caught my attention. Then I started it and thought yuck this is "mad max" story. But I'm stubborn and so when I start something I'm determined to finish it. And I'm so glad I did.
They story is not so much the "time and place" but instead it is all about the people, the emotions, and the intersecting lines. The characters much battle not only each other but themselves as well.
Intense story.

Review: Truth in Lace
Truth in Lace by Tempeste O'Riley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A short story that sort of gives a peak at Alex when he first discovers himself for who he fully is. Perhaps a glimpse at one of the last happy moments of his childhood.

Review: How to Marry a Beast
How to Marry a Beast by Viola Morne
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is a an historical tale that all starts with an add for a wife. What follows is mystery and unknowns. Nothing and no one seems to be what they seem. Misunderstandings multiply and the plot thickens. It is hard to sort the illusion from the truth. But as things come to a head will the best be lost after all. I couldn't put this one down.

Both Reuben and Kayla both need something so it looks like a business arranged marriage is the best way to meet their own needs. But first there is a bit of spoke thrown in the works and then well those pesky feelings really start to create havoc.

Review: Spaghetti Western
Spaghetti Western by E.M. Lynley

There were times when I wanted to story to move on to the action but I ended up loving it. Riley's new start ends up being so much more than he was planning. Colby loves his land but he finds something to love more. Despite the fits and starts to their relationship and a big need for communication they end up on the road to a great future.

Review: Liars & Tigers
Liars & Tigers by Breanna Hayse
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A great story with lots of action. Misha is tough and has learned to survive. Alex wants Misha and he's not above some tricks. He needs to learn to reach out and care with honesty and Misha needs to learn to trust and let go. They are perfect for each other if they don't kill each other first.
Once again Breanna Hayse mixes humor and drama with a great sprinkling of spanks.

This is a different tale of Julia who is part of a cult. While she isn't happy she seem to be able to make do. But changes start to happen that make her less willing to put up with the leadership. And then the FBI agent is there who is willing to give her an out and her world is really turned upside down. She then has to decide if she is trading one domination for another. Review: How to Train Your Dom in Five Easy Steps
How to Train Your Dom in Five Easy Steps by Josephine Myles
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
You start with Jeff who needs to learn more about being a better dom if he is every going to get a girl willing to play and Eddie who is a sub who is willing to teach Jeff a thing or two and there you have the makings of a story filled with humor that leads to some soul searching emotion as well.
Loved this story which is really a great romantic comedy with an unlikely couple, miscommunication and misunderstanding, an ugly break up scene, family drama, and the realization that love really doesn't care about labels.

Review: A Roll of the Dice
A Roll of the Dice by Tymber Dalton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I love how this story portrayed the real struggle of an established couple who are entering a new phase of life. Jenny feels she'd like to try something new and Mike is fearful that it is more than he is comfortable with and what it will mean for them as a couple. We see their internal struggle as well as their discussions with each other and their friends. We also see the learning process as they figure out how to balance each other's needs and comfort levels.

Review: A Little Twist
A Little Twist by Abbie Adams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Another great installment in this series.
In this story we are really looking at two couples and how their changing lives is effecting them all but especially both girls. Sara is settling with her new daddy Mark. Caity is dealing with feelings of rejection even as she is coming to know her new daddy. But both girls have some things to 'fess up' to regarding troubles they have left behind.
It was interesting to see how different both daddies treated their girls but that each was perfect for the girl he had. Loved the hints of possible things to come and hope there will be more in this series.

Review: Risky Chance Chances of Discipline Book 4
Risky Chance Chances of Discipline Book 4 by Tabitha Marks
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Even though I haven't read all the other books in this series I was able to enjoy this book on it's own.
It explores a strong man whose life has gotten out of control as he tries to raise his son on his own. Keith has trust issues for a reason. Sara want to help and prove that she is nothing like her cousin. But she is slow to trust and feel free to be totally honest herself.
They seem to be just what the other one needs but and it was great to watch them step forwards and backwards through trust and building of a relationship. Loved the wrap up at the end.
