In this story we see that both Cyrus and Kyle have to learn to accept what is reality and not just the expectations but on them by their society. I love how Cyrus is willing to sacrifice himself and Kyle is ready to man up.

This is one of Nora Phoenix's books that have a lot of action and things happening around the main characters that not only involve their developing relationship but impact the storyline on their own. There are a lot of intense moments in this story and it was very satisfying to see them uphold their integrity and yet find a way. I listened to the audio version and enjoyed it very much.

What a great introduction to a new series. I love the fact that Able has been waiting 2 years to even have a chance and then is willing to keep waiting as long as it takes. It was great to see Myron have a chance to finally let go.

It was fun to see these two try to figure out what they want to do about their feelings. Neither one is sure they are ready for different reasons. It was great to see Theo put his friends ship his best friend in prospective. And it was great that Alex was ready to finally take a chance.

I am so excited about this new series. I love the chance to visit with some old friends but I really love meeting this new group of people. This story is so special. I love the connection between Hunter and Dalton from the beginning. Adding Sky into the story just makes it that much more special.

Week 14

Stripped by K.M. Neuhold

There was a lot of times were you wanted Demetri to really look at himself and see himself like others do. His best friend tries to tell him and he has more than one person interested. I love that Miller finds someone who sees Miller as he wants to be seen. I do feel a bit bad for Auggie and hope he gets his own story someday.

There is so much that happens in this installment. We are learning so many new things about the shifters life style. I really like some of the new developments in this book. I also love the way the relation develops between Zeke and Darrell. Another action packed story.

I also respect Apollo's reservations in relationship to his family. We get to see he really is a great guy despite his gruffness. I love the way their story plays out.

I like how much these two have messed with each other. Pax is good at pushing his little Nerdlet to try new things.

Bishop and the Bar Tender - KM Neuhold - Rating 4.0 

I realized much of this story is actually at the beginning of their story but it was fun to revisit how it all started.

Week 13

His Boy to Love by Chloe Gray
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love the fact that these two were already friends. I also like how Levi was ready to step out of his comfort zone for a bit to get the Daddy he really wants. This story is shorter but so very sweet.

These two seem unlikely as a pair at first. Elijah has had a long standing crush but for Pax this is all new. He seems to be convinced that he isn't really good boyfriend material. I got a bit frustrated at times when it was clear he was developing feelings but he was working so hard to deny it. The epilogue helped finish off the story.

Overall I enjoyed the story and give it a 3.5. But there were times where I got frustrated at all the players. In a relationship where communication is the key there was a whole lot of not talking things out. I did like the wrap up and am looking forward to the double wedding story.
