Review: Fulfilling Her Fantasy: A Masters of the Castle Novella

Fulfilling Her Fantasy: A Masters of the Castle Novella
Fulfilling Her Fantasy: A Masters of the Castle Novella by Tabitha Black

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Great way to start reading these new set of books set in the Castle world. Sometimes it seems the masters have all the fun. But with a push from and interfering friend it's time of a sub to live out her fantasy. Wonder if there is more for these two in the future.

Review: When The Gavel Falls

When The Gavel Falls
When The Gavel Falls by Tabitha Black

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a great set of books. Each one is unique and special and add something to the world of the Castle. I couldn't stop reading this one until I had finished the whole set.

Punishing Portia - David is strong enough to admit he made a mistake and Portia realizes she has to rethink how she handled things. I love how these two fit together so perfectly. David is willing to work toward bringing out the best in Portia. Loved the wrap up that made it even better.

Rosie's Resolution - Sometimes it takes strength to admit what you want. I really loved Rosa not just in taking a chance but in the loving way she cares and supports her friends. You can feel the love between all the players in this story and you can help but cheer them all one. This one does have MFf, age-play story line.

Sharing Silver - I can't image being brave enough to travel half way across the world to pursue a dream. Silver is strong and brave and it doesn't hurt that her best friend is willing to go on the block with her. She is willing to take risks and she gets what she wants times 2 with her purchase by the twins.

Changing O - Wow this story was so much more than I was expecting. I thought it would be darker and edgier given O's habit of playing on the dark story but I was so wrong. This is a love story about a man strong enough not to give O what she wants but what she truly needs. This is really a powerful story.

Buying Brianny - This one includes taking a risk that almost backfires. So often in stories of this genre we are remind that communication is the backbone of any relationship. If you can be honest about your wants and needs with the one you love the most than how can you hope to move forward to the future.

Fulfilling Her Fantasy - Reviewed separately.

Review: Plain Jane

Plain Jane
Plain Jane by Eve Spire

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This story is more a romance story with a bit of spanking. Jane can't see herself as anything but plain. Cooper is a rolling stone who is there to help out a friend. But there is a connection and romance blooms. But when it comes down to it is either one willing to make a change to give it a chance. Love the whole ensamble of characters in this story they all add to the fun. This is a sweet story of taking choices and looking at things in a new way.

To Find My Love
To Find My Love by Paige Mallory

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love the premise of this story. You have a strong woman who meets an untimely death and ends up in another time and place yet she is still fighting crime against the same family. I love watching Sam adapt to her new life. I love how too how Devlin is willing to trust her and to help her navigate through this new world. A fun story full of great suspense as well.

Review: Dominating Devney

Dominating Devney
Dominating Devney by Vanessa Vale

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This story has a few surprises. Devney was kept isolated by her husband on his ranch but with him dead it leaves her trying to figure out how to manage. Sam is among the men from town that go to check on her. He falls hard and she tumbles after. She too has a whole new way of life to learn but Sam is patient and she seems to be taking to it just fine.

Bruised
Bruised by Sean Michael

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I didn't enjoy this one as much. While there is a bit of their relationship it seems to be so much more about the sex. And while I enjoy a great bedroom scene or even a garage scene I really want and need to feel the relationship. We have hints but it seems there wasn't enough for me to truly care about the characters.

Review: Caged Sanctuary

Caged Sanctuary
Caged Sanctuary by Tempeste O'Riley

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Kade Thorn is a sub but he feels that his injury left him unable to have what he craves. Even a "vanilla" relationship failed. But Deacon can see the man beyond the chair and is willing to give it a try. I love the depth of feeling at that Deacon too has to push his own boundaries to find ways to meet the need of his sub while still giving him what he needs. You see strength in being will to adapt and look at things from a different perspective.

His Canvas
His Canvas by Tymber Dalton

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Yet another story in the lives of the Suncoast Society. Kel isn't going to drama any more and Mallory's life is full of family drama. But Kel realizes that sometimes the heart doesn't care and Mallory isn't looking for drama. I love how protective he of her. And once again the whole group rally around some of their own in need.

Review: Return to Pepper's Hollow

Return to Pepper's Hollow
Return to Pepper's Hollow by Fiona Wilde

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This story is part of a series but I hadn't read the book that this story is direct sequel for and while I that would have been nice this story can stand on it's own.

This story shows the growing relationship between Polly and Walt who are settling in together. They are back in Pepper Hollow the spanking community that Walt started. But now they have to deal with some unplanned for guests. Phillip is Walt's brother and Jenny who is Polly's friend. Both hold a lot of contempt for the lifestyle of Peppers Hollow.

But like all good romantic comedy's these guest have a chance to explore their interest in each other and the whole spanking concept. It was great fun to watch them figure everything out for themselves.

Review: Cassie's Conflicts

Cassie's Conflicts
Cassie's Conflicts by PK Corey

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is the fifth in the series. I haven't read the other books in this series but this book can certainly stand on it's own. This story is so full of humor and love and it was a lot of fun to read.

It is great to read a story that features an older couple who are well established in their life and love. Cassie sure finds ways to get in trouble with her friends in a way that reminding me of "Lucy and Ethel".

This story is written in the narrative style and is a nice long book. If you need to split the reading up you can take a break after you finish chapter 21. The first 21 chapters focus mainly on Cassie's troubles with a really bad neighbor. The rest of the book focus more on her relationship with her husband and his concerns with her health. And while this story does contain some spanking the story is really more about Cassie's antics and the trouble she tends to bring on to herself.

And Manny Makes Seven by Sean Michael

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another great addition to the Manny series. This time we see poor Adam who is at the end of his rope and not really able to let his best qualities shine out. Hutch has been working with families for a while and he's able to step in and get things under control. Love how they just seemed to fit each other and how the whole family can pull together.
