Review: Raven's Cry
Raven's Cry by Breanna Hayse
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
While this book is part of a series I haven't read the rest of the series. This story can stand on it's own. It is set in an different reality of the possible future and is a dark time. Raven has desires that can be considered illegal. The brothers Kendrick and Henry also have dark desires but they also have the money to acquire what they want. Together they journey along a path that seems dark yet there is love and the giving of what is craved.

It seems as if revenge is the motivation but as old love is reawakened things continue to shift and change. It is a great little story of the impossible becoming possible when love is on the line.

Reunion by Maggie Ryan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Once again we spend time with Lucy and her sister during a visit. We also get to spend more time getting to know Lucas' sisters as well. They are ready to start looking for their future as well. We also start to see some possibilities. Again we see a strong dynamic yet it is full of powerful love. All this with a side of holiday fun. Ready now to read book 4 which continues where this one leaves off.

I love the updated "Christmas Carol" twist. Quin just gets to over hear a few truths and experiences some friendships. These wok together to turn his head on straight. Love a feel good Christmas story and this delivers.

Review: Winter Wonderland
Winter Wonderland by Heidi Cullinan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Poor Paul is looking for a Christmas movie romance and it doesn't help when your friends seem to find it without even trying. Kyle needs to be seen for the man he's become not the kid he was. As they got thrown together for Christmas planning they each need to really figure out their feelings and what the other guy needs to stand a chance. Won't spoil it but the final showdown with the while town will melt your heart.

Lita needs and wants what Brandt brings to the table but her almost abusive upbringing leads to the conflict of emotions between submission and giving in. We get to see her struggle to figure out the difference. We can also see Brandt develop the ability to balance patience and pushing forward to give them both satisfaction.
