The Walls Have Ears by Erica Pike

Harley is short and scrawny and has developed a fantasy for his neighbor on the other side of the wall. When he thinks he's figured out the mystery is leads to heart break because his neighbor loves his room mate. What follows is a lot of fun misunderstandings. As the reader you can see where everyone keeps mis-stepping but they just keep stepping in it. This was a fun read.
