Week 22 and 23

In the Morning LightIn the Morning Light by B.A. Tortuga

I really love the fact that these two really had a relationship even if they hadn’t given it a name in the past. I also like how Austin can freely admit that he hadn’t really listened to what Jim was really saying at the time. This is a sweet story with the building of a family.

This story was interesting to see how these two sort of end up together. Wesley has his reasons for distrust based on past experience. Drake is drawn to Wesley but is willing to be patient and give him the time he needs to be ready for each next step as they building relationship. I love this story as it was very sweet romance.

These two are so funny as they both try to dismiss what are they filling for their won reasons. Scott has his rules but at some point rules need to be broken before it’s too late. You can also get the vibe that once the rules are broken there will be a whole lot more changes that will come to the Mansion. Fun story and a great introduction to the series.

Another great book in this series. I love the way that Sebastian is drawn to Hadley from the start. Hadley is allowed to be strong and show how good he is at his job as he helps Sebastian figure out how things should really work. I like how they are able to develop their relationship.
I listened to the audio version of this story and I really enjoyed it very much.

Jax is drawn to Ember from the beginning but she has to learn if she can trust. I like how she called him when things were going badly. He was also willing to go out on a limb to help her out. There were lots of changes in her life all at once but you can see how happy she is. I also love the scenes with the older lady they added a special touch.
I listened to audio version and enjoyed it very much.

I like how very subtly the relationship builds between Rhett and Calix. They have a struggle to figure out what they are building. This story also has the ongoing elements of backstory of the bombing and assignation with more threats.
I listened to the audio version and it really add a layer of drama.

The moral of the story is there is no perfect but you might just be the best for each other. There were times were I got a bit upset at both of these guys and felt like say "oh, gosh" just talk to each other already. It took these guys a while to finally work things out with each other. The angst in this story is internal. But overall I was happy with the story and the end was worth the journey.
I listened to the audio version and enjoyed it very much.
