Danny is a man who think he's closed himself off from love to protect himself. He think his wall is a shield. But you can see that his long term friendship with Grayson makes some of his declarations seem a bit of a lie. Halldor knows he wants a deeper connection with someone but he too has but up some walls hiding behind his work. As connecting as a couple they help each other deal with things from the past. But when a crisis arises the strength of both men become clear and their bond becomes even tighter.
