Review: Amanda's Dominant Daddy

Amanda's Dominant Daddy Amanda's Dominant Daddy by Maggie Carpenter
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the story of a successful woman named Amanda Anderson and up-and-coming new actor Braxton Carter. On the surface it would appear that Amanda is a bit too old and better off in the world. But as the story unfolds there is so much more than meets the eye.

While Braxton is younger and a new actor he has already created his own business is already a self-made man. He also possesses great maturity . He knows who he is and what he is looking for.

Amanda while a very successful business woman is unsure about herself. She has her own doubts and fears.

As they come together things seem to be falling into place for both of them together as well as separately in both business and in personal things. This story is about balance. The balance between desire and need, between personal and professional needs, and between independence and dependence. They give and take from each other in balance as well.

I like that they didn't put all their eggs in one kink basket but explored different aspects of a dominate/submissive relationship in ways that met their needs for the current circumstance much as I picture it working in real life. Also, it wasn't all kink all the time but there was also time for good old-fashioned love making. Their goals and dreams matched each other well. And we learn that sometimes that trust is one of the hardest things to give to another and yet it is the most important.

I really enjoyed this story and was so glad to see things work out for this couple.
