Review: Duet

Duet Duet by Eden Winters
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When I read the blurb I thought it sounded like an interesting story and was on sale so I picked it up. I was not prepared for the depth of feelings this story would generate. Malcolm thinks himself cowardly for not speaking up in a situation when it was too late to change anything. Allill thinks himself strong and more loyal then those around him. But as their learn to respect each other both learn things about themselves. Malcolm has courage when it counts and Allill learns that sometimes the strong of us will still lose what we hold dear.

There is the mystery of the tale and as the story resets itself we are again drawn to these men. I love how we are given a peak at not only how the principals have been touched by time but also how the descendants of other characters have also faired.

This story is a testament to the power of love and that forever means just what the word implies.
