Review: Sapphire's Surrender

Sapphire's Surrender Sapphire's Surrender by Tabitha Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In this addition to the Red Petticoat series we are faced with two main characters who feel they harbor dark secrets and dark desires. Slade is trying to protect Sapphire from hurt and being with someone unworthy. In the process he keeps putting his foot in his mouth and hurting her much worse with his words.

It was fun to see how Slade seems to also bring out the worst in Sapphire. It seems she keeps getting the wrong kind of attention by being in big trouble. But in the exchange they reveal a lot about themselves and it would seem that they are well suited for each other. Then they both have to come to grips with who they are and how they suit each other.
