This is another one of those books I picked up free a while ago. It isn't so much a romance as a mystery/crime story with some romance thrown in. Veronica is enjoying her wedding reception with everything changes the instant a mysterious woman shows up and starts talking to her new husband Rick. Now all she wants to know is what is going on. From that moment on her life takes on a new direction that she seems to not only embrace but enjoy. I don't think I would react as well to such a sudden change in my life. Maybe it just shows she wasn't really cut out for the ordinary life she was about to embark on.
