Lucy and Sawyer knew each other in school and reconnect just when it seems that Sawyer would need her the most. It was great to see a strong woman give in to both her need to submit and her partners need to dominate. I love how JD still has such strength of character despite the circumstances. I expected to be crying through this whole book but instead it wasn't really until the end that I was shedding tears. The rest of the story was really a strong story of love, healing, and admitting your feelings.
