A Naughty Little New Year: A Holidays at Rawhide Ranch StoryA Naughty Little New Year: A Holidays at Rawhide Ranch Story by Maren Smith
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love the plot line of this addition to the Rawhide Ranch holiday series. Poor Dan is not prepared for how his life is going to get turned all around. I also loved Lacey. This story is really sweet. What a great way to celebrate the New Year.

This seems like a case where family matters in a completely different way. Everyone in this story cares about the kids but they don't always agree on what that needs to look like. I got frustrated at times on how their personal relationship was run over by others. But it was worth pushing through to the wonderful ending to this story. I listened to the audio version and it was very well done.

Elaine seems so large and in charge but she has needs that she has kept locked down. I love how Fane finds his way into her life and helps her see what she truly needs in her life. It isn't all smooth sailing but I like how this story develops and has a realistic feel.
Listened to the audio version and was very well done.

I love how we get a peek that Kyle and Rand had a bit of an attraction from the beginning. Kyle really backs himself into a corner with his family. Rand comes to his rescue. But of course the whole thing doesn't go to plan but is was so much better.
Listened to the audio version and enjoyed it very much.

This story is full of high energy and lots of nail biting as Sai finds a place in this world and then has it threatened not once but twice in this story. I loved all of the feels of this this story and they way that we see everyone come together.
I listened to audio version and it was very well done.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love the way these two men come together and show care for each other. Ben is so ready to have someone to care for. Jayden is a wonderful and capable young man but needs some TLC. He has had to be so strong for so long. There are also some wonderful support characters in this story as well. I really enjoy this story and its sweet outcome.

Adam was so very special. I love how Tate just seems to understand what Adam needs most of the time. Although there was a moment there that I was worried about him missing some key thoughts Adam was having. I love the way this story ends up resolving. Such a sweet story.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This story is wonderful and starting it knowing that there was a second part to the story made me able to relax and let the story unfold without wonderful how they would get where they needed to be. There is so much to unpack for Kinsey as he navigates his brand new world. He has much to overcome and it was interesting to see the mix of things that happened to him and things he did to himself. I like how this story doesn't let Kinsey make excuses for those choices but that he does takes person responsibility. On the other hand he sometimes takes on guilt that is misplaced. And this is where we get to see Benoni shine because he helps Kinsey begin to navigate his way not only to physical health but mental health as well.
I listened to the audio version and enjoyed it very much.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love the way this story progresses seamlessly from the first book. This book seems to focus a bit more on their relationship with each other and with others that are part of their lives. I like how they strive to be honest and upfront. While there is pain and struggle that is seen between and the other characters that are part of their lives it was gratifying to see for the most part that they can move forward together and still maintain those relationships that are important. I know this little series is done but I kind of hope Leif gets a story someday.
I listened to the audio version and enjoyed it very much.

This is a beautiful story of strength and survival. Seth has been surviving in a bad situation but not just that but he cares about the others who have been with him. Tad is so patient but also so open to the feelings.
I listened to the audio version of this story and enjoyed it very much.
